Kind of Sanskrit poem (kāvya), in which the verses (ślokas) are not interrelated, and each one has two meanings, like a kind of poetic riddle. Verses explore themes from the Mahābhārata and other mythology. Unknown commentary notes are written in the margins to aid in discerning the hidden meaning.
