The work (written in part by Archibald Bower?)--includes an answer to the author of a pamphlet entitled Second part of the Satyrical review of the manifold falsities and absurdities hitherto published, concerning the earthquake at Lisbon, who is here identified as Bl-the (i. e. Francis Blyth?) Cf. NUC pre-1956.

Cassuto Collection copy: a few leaves at beginning of volume mildly dampstained; portion of head margin of title leaf torn off (with minor damage to first line of title) and mended with a blank leaf (with damaged letters supplied in ms.).
