St. John as general manager, which position he held from 1887-1894 (cf. Poor's directory of railway officials 1887, p. 43, and 1888, p. 21, and 18th annual report of the Board of Railroad Commissioners for the year ending June 30, 1895, State of Iowa, p. 162), and John Sebastian as general ticket and passenger agent, which position he held from 1889-1902 (cf.
