- Summary:
- "Over five years in the making, A Bridge Apart puts a human face on the migrants who travel north in search of work or refuge. It showcases the hometowns that these migrants are leaving behind, remote areas in Central America, where striking beauty and extreme poverty coexist. Equally important, the film shows how economic development in these countries can provide alternatives to migration, allowing families and communities to stay intact. Filming for the project took place in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico and the United States."--Container.
