- Notes:
- 470 copies were printed on Dickinson paper with the text body in Old Style Antiqua. The initials and paragraph marks in red and blue were all done by hand. There are approximately 2000 hand drawn initials and paragraph breaks, this had to be a considerable undertaking for the small staff that was then at the Roycroft campus. The binding is paper over boards with a suede spine, As stated by Mr. Vilain, the two column format is evocative of the design for the Gutenberg Bible and the layout illumination are in a true medieval fashion.--cf.
