The text body is set in Old Style Antiqua and 26 copies were printed on either Whatman handmade or Japan Vellum paper, hand illuminated by Bertha Hubbard, and bound in a crushed Levant or paper over board with a buckram spine. The regular edition of 473 copies was printed on Whatman handmade paper and bound in paper over boards with a white buckram spine or bound in suede with cloth ties. Both editions illustrated with photogravures of Turner's work on vellum with the regular edition numbered and signed in Hubbard's name and the edition of 26 signed by Bertha Hubbard.--cf. Vilain-Wieck Collection copy 1 is specially hand illumined and autographed by Bertha C. Hubbard; number 17 of 26. Also has inscription, in pencil, (To) R.E.S. & H.S. from C.W.R. Feb. 9, 1897. Bound in paper over boards with Buckram spine.
Vilain-Wieck Collection copy 2 is number 227 of 473 copies. Signed by Hubbard. Hand-illumined. Rebound in red cover. Photo of Elbert Hubbard tipped in at end.
