- Summary:
- A volume with graph paper leaves consisting of French songs along with drawings. Seventy songs handwritten in black, purple, and green ink about love, jealousy, sex, women, and soldiers. Almost every page in the volume has a drawing in inks and colored pencil. The drawings are of women in various states of dress or undress, soldiers, and some scenes with men and women. The predominant hues of the illustrations consist of bright pinks and blues. There is one fabric swatch laid in the volume. There are names, possibly of former owners, written on the verso of the last leaf in the volume: Mr. Zephyrine Chabre and Henry Esmieu.
