Smith copy has 19th-century armorial bookplate of Claude-Alexandre-Edgard Testu, comte de Balincourt (1832-1914), with stamped shelf-number ("1142") on front pastedown. "Deux colonnes sans chapiteau portent sur le haut de leur fût, à dextre, le blason des Reinaud, à gauche celui des Gênas de Vauvert; elles sont reliées par l'Ex libris de Pierre Guiraud qui broche sur le tout. Autour on lit: 1680 1880. La première date rappelle l'époque de l'alliance des Guiraud et des Fauquier, d'où descendent les Reinaud; la seconde celle de la gravure de l'Ex libris commun."--P.
