Includes text from the original 1912 publication of Davies' book A lyttel booke of nonsense (pages 1-76), followed pages of the 1925 second printing that introduced changes (pages 77-88). Text from Davies' second book of limericks (1923), A little more nonsense, is also included (pages 89-137).
"The introduction has been set in 12 pt Monotype Garamond by Harry McIntosh of Speedspools in Edinburgh, using his computer/caster interface. The limericks were handset at the Press with well-worn 18 pt Garamond Italic ... The paper is a Woookey Hole mould made ... new blocks were made by Geoff Giles, from the original Randall Davies books. The printing was done by Graham Moss, nudged along by the speedy folding & collating carried out by Mike Tregear"--Colophon.
"The edition is of 315 numbered copies, the first 175 bound at the Press in cloth with decorated paper sides designed by Meg Held and the remaining copies individually bound out of house"--Colophon.
