Summary:
"Based on a real life incident, the story revolves around a village pawnbroker-cum-money lender Badakotraiah, whose house is robbed and who loses his wealth as well as the pawned gold of the villagers. He suffers a paralytic stroke and eventually dies. His son Chembasava shoulders the responsibility of the house, his naivety is a major drawback which is exploited by the middleman, the police and the whole system. Chembasava ends up being the scapegoat surrendering the remaining valuables and his house. The movie talks about the negligence of the politicians, the police, media as well as the middlemen who abuse the common man."--Deccan Herald, 01/03/11.
