The text body is set in Caslon. The illustrations throughout the book were designed by W. W. Denslow and have his distinctive seahorse either in the drawing or next to it. This edition was printed in three colors on Boxmoor paper and bound in suede.----cf. Roycroft Books [online resource]
Alternating red and blue initial capitals, with gold accents, on quatrains; illustrations are hand-illumined.
"So here endeth the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam of Naishapur, as rendered into English by Edward Fitzgerald and done into a book by me, Elbert Hubbard, at the Roycroft Shop, which is in East Aurora, New York, and completed March the Ninth MDCCCXCIX"--Colophon.
