- Explores the history leading up to, and the effects of, reunification in Germany, with emphasis on opening the border at the Berlin Wall. Includes interviews with former members of the Stasi, as well as many interviews with citizens and political figures. Interviews in the first giddy days of the fall of the Wall are paired with follow-up interviews done when the interviewees have had time to reflect.
