Summary:
This comedy, directed by Mack Sennett during the period Charlie Chaplin worked at Sennett's Keystone Studios, stars Marie Dressler, Mabel Normand, and Chaplin. In this feature-length romantic comedy, Chaplin (as the Little Tramp) pursues Tillie (Dressler), a wealthy woman. This print represents an attempt to restore the film to its original and complete six-act version. The many source elements had different framelines, which are occasionally visible on screen in this 2004 restoration.
