Formerly owned by Janārdan Koṇḍadeva (f. 85v). This owner is from the village of Gāḍagī (or Gāḍgīlāya), possibly in present day Jarakhand, India; the item is written by the same scribe as Item 845, Item 930, Item 931, Item 932, Item 934, Item 1002, Item 1003, and Item 2387.

Summary:
Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a Hindu philosophical treatise as well as a commentary (dīpana) known as, the Light of truth investigation, by Nārāyaṇāśrama on his own work Tattvaviveka, also referred to as the Vedāntatattvaviveka. The work is related to the Advaita (non-dualism) Vedānta school of philosophy.

Colophon: iti śrīmadvedāṃtasiddhāṃtasārābhijñaśrīmannṛsiṃhāśramamunipraṇīte tattvavivekadīpane dvitīyaparicchedaḥ aṃdhridvaṃdvasamāśrayaḥ kṛtijagannāthāśramaśrīguror nā[?]āta[?]vivekadīpanam iti śrīmṛnnṛsiṃhāśramaḥ // abdebāṇaviyadraseṃdragaṇiteṣauṣedaśamyāṃtithauśītāṃśaunaīanāmanī -- puregraṃthaṃmudāvīkarat // samāpto 'yaṃ dvitīyaḥ parichedaḥ // (f. 85v).
