- Script: Written in a semi-cursive script by a single hand.
- Decoration: Decorated title pages (f. 42r, 60r, 136r); Aristotelian square of opposition (f. 20r); tree of Porphyry (f. 114r); decorative headpieces including one with a dog (f. 1r); decorative tailpieces (for example, f. 150r, 162v); several styles of manicules (for example, f. 47r, 67r); three 14-line penwork initials (f. 1r, 43r, 137r); one 10-line penwork initial (f. 61r); small penwork initials throughout as well as many unfinished initials (for example, f. 62r, 63r).
- Binding: Modern half leather. Spine leather cracked and worn. Extensive damage to upper outer corners of most folios due to moisture, with some loss of text.
