- Summary:
- Auguste Maquet brought Dumas the outline of Bonhomme Buvat (Good Old Buvat), which Dumas rewrote and lengthened. The 26-year-old Chevalier Raoul d'Harmental becomes embroiled in the struggle for power during the regency of the Duc d'Orleans following the death of Louis XIV.
