Uno de los graves cuidados que mas ocupan la atencion de las Còrtes generales y extraordinarias, se dirige á poner cobro á los bienes y derechos de la nacion, y á proveer que se administren con la mayor economia y exâctitud, evitando su malversacion, á fin de que el producto de ellos se invierta en los grandes objectos de nuestra defensa y libertad, ó en otros fines de reconocida utilidad nacional, y que los pueblos no sufran mas sacrificios de impuestos y contribuciones que aquellos que sean absolutamente precisos ...

- RBC copy has ms. inscription in brown ink beside the printed signature of Felix Calleja at foot of sheet (in his hand?); autograph of José Ygnacio Negreiros y Soria in brown ink at foot of sheet.
- RBC copy printed on revenue-stamped paper of the sello cuarto class. Originally valid for 1811-1812, the paper has been revalidated for 1812-1813, with the appropriate stamp applied.
- RBC copy has tear in head margin and a few small holes in head, left and right margins.
