- Summary:
- Naoh, a prehistoric human, sets out on a perilous journey with two youths from his tribe in search of fire. Surviving attacks by huge predatory animals, the three finally discover another tribe with fire, but these are hostile savages and the three must flee for their lives. Eventually they encounter a friendlier people whom they save from the attacks of the savages, and who in gratitude send them home with a basket of burning coals and the secret of making fire from sparks generated by striking two stones together.
