Summary:
Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a Hindu philosophical treatise on the elephant-headed deity Gaṇeśa as the highest principle in the universe. Text aligns itself with the Atharvaveda. A second text, the Heraṃbopaniṣad, is also dedicated to and expounds on the nature of the deity Gaṇeśa. Heramba is typically a five-headed form of Gaṇeśa especially important in Tantric worship.
