Summary:
Visits residents of the Nakagin Capsule Tower and interviews them. They describe life in the tower and why they chose to leave there. Describes how the Tower is organized and what is the philosophy behind it. The architect, Kirsho Kurokawa explains how the parts of the Capsule are prefabricated and they meant to represent photo camera's lenses. Residents speak about the problems they face leaving the Tower. The building is deteriorating, but some architects think it needs to be looked at as a construction ahead of its time, and work of art. But the question of preservation is very lively and many think it should not be preserved just because it is an architectural monument when it loses its functionality.
