Constitues first series ("dai 1-ji") of Waseda Bungaku, whose publication has been suspended and resumed numerous times with new series numbering.

Publication and numbering discontinuous. First series ("dai 1-ji") divided into volumes ("ki") of unequal numbers of issues, with issues numbered anew with each "ki". Dai 1-ji, dai 3-ki (i.e., ser. 1, v. 3) called also dai 7-nen, dai 1-go (7th year, no. 1), etc. Cf. Nihon kindai bungaku daijiten, v. 5, p. 457-460.

Numbering of reprint volumes bears no relation to original volume numbering.
