Engraved plates, including added engraved title leaf (plate), signed and dated "J Forrester inuent. et sculpt Roma 1760", which reads: Raccolta di alcune delle piu belle vedute d'Italia con breui anotazioni del Abate R. Venuti Presidente alle Antichita di Roma & Socio d'elle [sic] Accademie Reali d'Inghilterra intagliate da vari celebri incisori in Roma Vol. pro: 1761".
With monogram "WR" on on title leaf and added engraved title leaf.

Penn Libraries copy has ms. bibliographical and provenance notes in pencil on front free endpaper; modern ms. note ("HINJ- 10/2013 #17790 (I owned this copy in 1990 + sold it Ximenez") in pencil on back pastedown.
Penn Libraries copy has dated 18th-century autograph ("Ed. Wynne. 1762.") of Edward Wynne and shelf-mark(?) ("k 1/2") both in brown ink on front pastedown.
Penn Libraries copy bound in one quarter early leather over paper boards; 3 raised bands on spine; blind-ruled spine panels; all edges stippled red.
