It was reprinted by permission (with a number of revisions by the author) in an edition of 300 copies to celebrate Mr. Goudy's seventy-fourth birthday, March 8, 1939. It is again reprinted during the Goudy Centennial, 1965, for the many friends of F. W. G. - it was his favorite biography."--Introductory Note.
