- Fatwa on the rules regulating jihad, requested A.H. 19 Rajab 1252 (30 October 1836) from ʻAbd al-Qādir ibn Muḥyī al-Dīn, Amir of Mascara (Algeria), accompanied by leaves from at least six other manuscripts in different hands: two brief treatises on veneration of the Prophet; one leaf of a qaṣīdah; and three tables of contents, one leaf each, none listing works in this collection of leaves.

- Probably written in Morocco; the fatwa is written in Maghribi script with marginal notes by another hand; one treatise is written in Maghribi script by a different hand, and the other treatise is written in naskh script; the fatwa and treatises all have catchwords and have been collated against other versions of the texts.
- The fatwa has a magic square in it; one of the treatises is written in blue and red ink in addition to black; the qaṣīdah leaf has decorative elements in red.
