"Moon shots is the product of a collaboration initiated by Lucas Johnson in the autumn of 1966 and was originally published by Anne Felshin of the Mexican Art Annex in a limited, portfolio edition under the title of El hombre: la guerra. The ten lithographs (each measuring 15 by 22 inches) were created by Lucas Johnson at the Pratt Center for Contemporary Graphics during September and October 1966 and were hand pulled by Jurgen Fischer. The half-sized reproductions in this volume were produced by the photo-offset process at the Ruddell-Conte Press, West Nyack, New York under the personal supervision of James Conte. ... Moon shots has been published in a first edition of 350 copies by New Rivers Press in cooperation with the Mexican Art Annex of New York City. Book design by W.T. Chafee."--Colophon.
