Publication was suspended after the appearance of v. 4 and resumed according to an act passed March 10, 1819, which increased the subscription , on behalf of the state, from 150 to 800 copies, but made no provision for completing the sets with the first 4 vols. An act passed January 24, 1823, provided for a 2nd edition of v. 1-4 to complete the sets. cf. Pref. to 2d edition
