Title, publisher's name and imprint date from cover; place of publication from place of publication for The kaiser-i-Hind (i.e. Kayasare Hinda), edited by Framji Cowasji Mehta from 1882 to 1915. RBC copy consists of binding with portraits of Queen Victoria of Great Britain and Edward, Prince of Wales, on front pastedown and advertisement for The kaiser-i-Hind in back pastedown and two unnumbered illustrated leaves, each with four portraits: Wilhelm I of Germany, Alexander III of Russia, Abdul Hamid II of the Ottoman Empire, and Abdur Rahman Khan of Afghanistan on one; W.E. Gladstone, Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, George Robinson, 1st Marquess of Ripon, and Frederick Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, Earl of Dufferin.
