Culture Class Collection copy in elaborate blind stamped pigskin binding; upper board has a central portrait panel stamp of Elector of Saxony (possibly August I, 1526-1586) beneath which is the verse: "Victus eras acie fidei constantia tandem victorem ante homines fecit et ante deum"; initials stamped in black on upper cover at the top of portrait panel may be "L V H"; date of 1586 stamped in black below portrait panel; remains of two metal clasps; all edges red and speckled brown.
