Text translated and plates selected from Campi Phlegraei; observations on the volcanoes of the two Sicilies as they have been communicated to the Royal Society of London, by Sir William Hamilton (Naples, 1776. Text in English and French)--and Supplement to the Campi Phlegraei, being an account of the great eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in the month of August, 1779 (Naples, 1779).
Each plate accompanied by leaf with letter-press. Frontispiece and plates in folders with descriptive letterpress; the folder of the frontispiece is counted as p. [21-24] the folders fo the plates are not included in the pagination.
