- Notes:
- The Constitution arranged and explained in eleven numbered columns under the headings: Declared objects or ends in view, Government, President, Congress, Powers of the whole Congress of the U.S., House of Representatives, Senate, Powers of each house, Restrictions upon Congress, Judicial power, and General provisions.
- Portrait of George Washington signed: D. Edwin sc.
- The twelfth column has heading "No. of states, territories, and districts in the Union." The last state listed is Missouri, which was admitted to the Union on Aug. 10, 1821.
- Two impressions noted. In one, printed on thin paper and issued folded in boards with printed title label pasted inside back cover, the words "arranged and epitomized" are printed over the bottom of the oval portrait. In another, printed on thick paper with ruled columns and issued in A General collection of maps, charts, views, &c. Philadelphia, 1824 (Shoemaker 16260), the words "arranged and epitomized" are centered between the portrait and the text.

- Apparently Checklist Amer. imprints 4650 where it is dated [1830?].
- Printed area measures 61.5 x 46.0 cm.
- Not in Shoemaker.
