A translation into Latin, by Edward Pococke, of : Bar Hebraeus, Gregory Abû'l Faraj. Taʻrīkh mukhtaṣar al-duwal. Arabic text follows Latin translation.
"Supplementum Historiae dynastiarum:" has separate dated title page, pagination and register. Imprint has "excudebat Henricus Hall Academiae typographus ...".
The Arabic version has special title page printed from the same setting of type as the main title, and separate paging and signatures. The text reads from back to front. The title page of the Arabic version was printed as leaf A4 of the "Supplementum" which follows.
Signatures: *⁴ [fleuron]² A-3K⁴, ²A-4B⁴ (4b4 blank), ³A-K⁴(K4 blank).
Errata in Latin version: leaf 3K4r; in Arabic version: leaves 3K1v-3K3v.
Printer's device on title pages; woodcut initials; head- and tail pieces.
Includes bibliographical references and index.
