Summary:
Manuscript used for contemplation and study and contains only the first three sections (sarga) of this well known story, a Hindu epic love story about Nala, king of the Niṣadas, and his wife Damayantī, how they came to be married and their subsequent exploits. Ends with a praise of the Hindu goddess Lakṣmī in Marathi, written in Modi script.

Dated saṃvat 1889 (1832) (Part 3, f. 18r).
Scribe is Vināyaka Āḍibrekara son of Bālakṛṣṇa Āḍibrekara (Part 3, 18r) the same scribe that copied Item 535.
