Culture Class Collection copy has bookplate of Edward Heron-Allen F.R.S. (1861-1943), a writer, scientist, and Persian scholar, who produced a literal translation of the Quatrians of Omar Khayyam from the earliest known manuscript in the Bodelian Library of Oxford University, on front pastedown.

Culture Class Collection copy has two ms. drawings on the front free endpapers; one of them is possibly a representation of the author while he was being held captive by the Turks and has caption text in pencil ("The author had been imprisoned among the Turks. p. 81") underneath; the other one is an image of a standing Turk, with a sword in each hand.
