It was later expanded by Hume and reissued by Millar to include the history of England beginning with the Anglo-Saxons.
Vols. 5 and 6 of this set were also previously issued as a 2 v. set with the same contents (from James I-James II) but now renumbered in this expanded set in their proper chronological order of history.
Includes bibliographical references and index (volume 6)
