- Summary:
- Commentary on Aristotle's Posterior analytics, in which syllogistic reasoning is applied to scientific proof or demonstration. The first and second gatherings end with the text written in the lower margin of the last verso, as if lacking space and nevertheless finishing before the start of the next gathering (f. 13v, 23v). Occasional marginal corrections and notes.

- Foliation: Paper, 150; 1¹⁴(-1, pastedown) 2-3¹⁰ 4-6¹² 7-11¹⁰ 12-13¹² 14⁸(-1, pastedown). Catchwords on the last verso of each gathering except the first, ninth, and last (f. 23v, 33v, 45v, 57v, 69v, 79v, 89v, 109v, 119v, 131v, 143v). Some signatures visible in later gatherings, lower right recto.
- Layout: Written in 2 columns of 43-60 lines; frame-ruled in lead.
- Script: Written in Gothic cursive script by at least 3 hands, with the first line of text in some sections in larger calligraphic script.
- Decoration: 7 geometric diagrams in red and black (inside upper cover); 21-line drawing of Christ in the tomb in black and red ink in first column of text, surrounded by the opening words of the text in calligraphic letters (f. 2r); several 2-line to 7-line initials in red ink and red paragraph marks and initials touched with red in first 3 gatherings (f. 1r-45v). 4-line to 8-line initials in red ink with red penwork, or blue ink with red penwork; 14-line blue initial with red penwork and display lettering for the first words of the section (f. 100r); alternating blue and red paragraph marks in remaining gatherings. Correction for erroneous decorated initial (f. 74v). Drawing in ink of a head in profile (inside lower cover).
- Binding: Contemporary (15th-century) half calf over boards, with remnants of 2 pairs of clasps; rebacked.
- Origin: Written in Italy, possibly Verona (contemporary ownership inscription, f. 1r), in the mid-15th century.
