Summary:
At the conclusion of World War II, 120,000 men, women and children of Japanese ancestry were released after three years of imprisonment in internment camps. Each was given just $25 and a train ticket home. For many, home was California -- the Santa Clara or Salinas Valley or the Central Coast. This poignant documentary tells their stories of struggle, hardship and triumph as they rebuilt their lives.
