- Two first-century Greek accounts of the Trojan War purporting to be by the eyewitnesses Dictys and Dares. "De bello Troiano historia" by Dictys Cretensis translated from the Greek by Lucius Septimius. "De excidio Troiae historia" has been spuriously attributed to Dares Phrygius with a Greek translation attributed to Cornelius. It was probably written by unknown Latin writer living between 400 and 600 A.D.
