- In some copies, the "K" of sig. "Kij" is printed backwards and others are in a slightly different position in relation to the text above. Cf. ESTC.

- Culture Class Collection copy quarter bound in red morocco over red cloth boards; five raised, gold-tooled bands on spine; six spine panels; brief title stamped in gilt in second spine panel; place and date of imprint stamped in gilt at foot of spine; all edges speckled red.
- Culture Class Collection copy has the inscription "Joseph Adams, 1795" at head of t.p.; with a struck-through inscription on recto of frontis that appears to have read "Joseph Barber Birmingham".
- Culture Class Collection copy imperfect: the publisher's name has been partially erased and altered to read "Price" on t.p. and elsewhere.
- Culture Class Collection copy has a cancel slip pasted over illustration on p. 96 (second count).
