They pertain especially to Napoleon and the French occupation; some are in verse. Over half are anonymous; among the 20 authors are Cornelis van der Aa, Willem Bilderdijk, August Friedrich Ferdinand von Kotzebue, and Johannes Henricus van der Palm.
