Summary:
Manuscript contains the root text of Kaṇāda's sūtra on the philosophy of the Vaiśeṣika school and starts at the second statement. All of the root text is highlighted in red. The manuscript also contains the extensive commentary (upaskāra) of Śaṇkaramiśra, which immediately follows after each instance of the root text. Both root text and commentary deal with an explanation of dharma, the authority of the Vedas, and the nature of reality through an analysis of the senses according to the logical analysis of Vaiśeṣika, among other things. Manuscript lacks a beginning and an end.
