- Summary:
- Manuscript is a manual for consultation by priests, kings, or other Hindus undertaking various religious rites and observances. Text opens with reference to undertaking the religious path of renunciation (saṃnyāsa), typically the last of the four stages of life (āśramas), and contains a section on the veneration of ancestors (śraddha rites), as well as a collection of mantras for use in recitation and prayer.
