Summary:
Manuscript is a kind of instruction manual to be used by a priest or religious practitioner engaged in the worship (pūjā) of earthen (pārthiva) liṅgas, emblems of the Hindu god Śiva in order to remove sins and receive other worldly benefits. Text is from a larger work called the Pārthivacintāmaṇi.
