Notes:
Although originally attributed to Aaron ha-Levi of Barcelona, as indicated in the Encyclopaedia Judaica (1971) 2:15, research attributes the work to Aaron's brother, Phinehas. cf. Ḳiryat sefer v. 55 (1980), p. 787-790.--pref. to v. 2; in the preface to v. 5; the translator remains unconvinced by arguments that it is the work of a third person.
"Ka-nirʼeh me-et Rabenu Pinḥas (aḥiṿ shel Rabenu Aharon) ha-Leṿi ish Bartselonah"--Vols. 2-5.
