- Summary:
- In this collection the essays are the longer versions of the presentations that were read at the Florida and Gulf Coast Chapter Seminar of the World War One Historical Association. The meeting was held in Tampa on February 15-16, 2008. That year we also remembered the ninetieth aniversary of the 1918 armistices that ended World War I. The organizer of the Tampa seminar, Graydon A. Tunstall, thought that the meeting should put emphasis on the east. Therefore, most of the papers presented at the seminar examined some aspects of the eastern front. This is also proven by the interconnectedness of the eight essays included in this book.
