- The Rendille have a diversified culture which hosts a great deal of cultural occasions among them being the Sorio or feast of the new moon. The Sorio celebration in the Rendille community is performed at the sighting of the new moon and is marked by various activities such as goat slaughtering and some as dangerous as hippo hunting among other activities.
