Von Gottes Gnaden Wir Carl, Herzog zu Braunschweig und Lüneburg &c. Wir vernehmen, dass Zweifel über die Frage entstanden, Ob in Concursu Creditorum der Guts-Herr vor denen Erben, welche ihre Erbschafft in des Cridarii Gütern unverzinset stehen lassen ein Vorrecht habe, Da nun nach den bekannten Landes-Gesetzen, den Meyern an den Meyer-Gütern kein Eigentum und weiter kein Dominium als an den Gebäuden, meliorationen, und Viehe, an der Meyerstatt selber aber nur ein ius utendi fruendi zustehet, dahingegen das utile dominium über die Länderey und Meyerstatt dem Guts-Herrn gehöret ... So folget daraus ... dass der Guts-Herr als Eigentümer allerdings ein Vorzugs-Recht für seinen Meyer als blossen Usufructuarium ... : Geben in Unserer Vestung Wolfenbüttel, den 21. Aprilis 1745.
