Culture Class Collection copy bound in full speckled leather; title in ms. on spine; gold-tooled designs on spine; all edges speckled red and blue.
Culture Class Collection copy has bookplate of Enrico Barfucci (1889-in 1966), writer, editor, and journalist, on front pastdown. The bookplate has the figure of an old tree bound to a young sapling, giving it support, with the inscription, "Restiamo fedeli e soccorrevoli l'uno all'altro fino'alla fine dei nostri giorni ("We remain faithful and helping to each other until the end of our days").
Culture Class Collection copy has old ms. shelfmark on front pastedown.
Culture Class Collection copy has inked out ms. inscription ("Alessandro Adimari[?]"), possibly by Alessandro Adimari (1579-1649), Florentine patrician who studied classical literature and was secretary of the Accademia Fiorentina.
Culture Class Collection copy has ms. inscription dated 1663 on back free endpaper.
