- Summary:
- Small manuscript for use in public or private recitation or prayer in praise and worship of the Hindu deity Śiva in his dancing (tāṇḍava) aspect. Text is traditionally thought to be written by the demon Rāvaṇa who is considered a devotee of Śiva. Manuscript derived from a text named the Mahāpurāṇa, which is most likely the Skandapurāṇa.
