- Summary:
- Short devotional text in praise (stotra) and worship (pūjā) of the monkey god Hanuman; used in public or private meditation and prayer. Employs mantras with repetitive syllables such as "taṃ taṃ taṃ," "daṃ daṃ daṃ," and "ruṃ ruṃ ruṃ" throughout.
- Notes:
- Manuscript on paper with a watermark of a decorative palanquin with a figure inside on top of an elephant and an elephant rider; also includes a decorative watermark with indistinguishable, partial words.
- Title from colophon (f. 3v).
- Written in 7 lines per leaf.
- 3 leaves foliated 1-3, upper left and lower right verso.
- Colophon: iti śrīhanumadāṣṭakastotraṃ sampūrṇam // cha śrīrāma // (f. 3v).
