Summary:
Collection of hymns, mantras, and praises to the Sun god (Āditya also called Sūrya) used for private or public recitation, meditation, and prayer. presented as a conversation between the legendary prince Arjuna and the Hindu deity Kṛṣṇa. Last part of colophon (starting: śrīādityāyanamaḥ) written in a different scribal hand.

Colophon: iti śrībhaviṣyottarapurāṇe śrīkṛṣṇārjunasaṃvāde ādityahṛdayastotraṃ saṃpūrṇaṃ // subham astu // idaṃ pustakaṃ paropakārārthaṃ // śrīādityāyanamaḥ // rāmaḥ // pustakam etad dharmādhikārinārāyaṇasya // bhānave namaḥ // cha // cha // (f. 12v).
